will be sending out invites for dd's 2 yr old party. i just want to make doubly sure that the parents will stay and supervise their kiddies...also want to make sure that i get an rsvp...how do i word the invites? anyone got any ideas...

Put (name of child) and (name of parent) are invited to ....

To make sure we make the cake large enough - please tell xxxx that you are both(all) coming.

Our invites were as follows:

IMO parents of 2yos always stay. The only disadvantage is the extra cost of having to provide wine/nibbles for the parents. Will have to organise DDs 2nd party soon.

We provided nibbles and cakes for the adults, and hot drinks and soft drinks. Didn't bother with alcohol this time.
