Timing of invitations

This is a total non-problem but for some reason I'm tying myself in knots about it.

Ds's birthday party is 24th November. So do I hand out invites this week (before half term - just over four weeks before) or leave it until after half term (just under three weeks before party date).

I don't understand why but I just can't decide.

Someone tell me what to do!!

well you dont want to give them out too early or too late. I would probably leave it until after half term as 3 weeks is plenty of notice. DD is handing out her invites tomorrow for her bowling party that is on 10th November (only picked up the invitations today!)

After if I got it before I would probably put it away and forget about it

I think just after ht. They'll all lose them/forget them in the excitement of breaking up, and you'll have to ring everyone up in a couple of weeks.

My DS is having his party on 25th November (as his friend is having his on 24th Grin). Also not sure when the invitations will get handed out Smile

2 weeks is plenty of notice. Any more than that and I'm likely to forget Grin
