Involving boys in a Tinkerbell Party - Any ideas?

So my DD wants a Tinkerbell party for her 3rd birthday. Only problem is, half of her friends are boys and I don't think they will be thrilled with Tinkerbell for all of their party-packs etc. Any ideas how I can keep the theme Tinkerbell, but include the boys?

My DS will be 3 at the end of the year and would be thrilled with a fairy theme Grin

Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle?

Sorry, that's not very helpful. How about trying to go more unisex for the party bags with things like bubbles and stickers that both boys and girls would like?

Smile Do you think the boys would be ok with Tinkerbelle themed stickers and bubbles? Or should I get some general merchandise?

If you do Peter Pam as a theme you can have Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, Captain Hook... all sorts of dressing up oppurtunities.

DS recently went to a Princesses and Knights party, where they made wings/shields ; crowns/ helmets and wands/ shields. Would have been great if the boys had been at all interested in glueing sequins onto anything.

I'd go with a tinkerbelle and pirates party.

I think that at 3, they won't really notice what's on the bubbles etc, just be excited at going to a party and getting a party bag Smile I think they'd probably start to get interested in that stuff at age 4 or 5.

Thanks, I can't believe I didn't think of Peter Pan! I kept thinking Terence the dust keeper, but couldn't find anything on him. Will see if I can find anything Peter Pan related - it might be a lot easier!

Thanks!

I agree - would she be persuaded to do Peter Pan rather than just Tinkerbelle?
Some boys would love fairy stickers, others would hate them - even at 3 some little boys will think it is girly, especially those with older siblings ime.

For bubbles - could you get plain bottles of them and add you own stickers for them?

My 3 yo DS would hate anything to do with fairies, but would be quite happy for them to be there with pirates.
