Would you invite them all?

My daughters pre-school is going to be shutting down at the end of July and she wishes to invite 29 from preschool.

Her party is 22nd Sept and she starts her new pre-school beginning of Sept....would you invite all the new pre-school children too or just the ones from her old pre-school?

Just wanted to ask because if I invited them from new pre school would I look too forward as my daughter would only be at the school for about 3 weeks before the party?

Thank you

It depends what kind of party it is. However I can't imagine having more than 29 at a pre-schoolers party. It's madness!Grin

Three weeks is a long time at that age. I would stop talking to her about it and then after the first week at the new one, ask her who she wants to invite and then invite those people.

To be honest at that age, with the summer hols too, she will have forgotten about half of the children. If there are children with whom she will continue to socialise then invite them, otherwise I would try to invite some from the new preschool as that is where she needs to be making friends. There must be some of the 29 that she doesn't actually play with. Maybe say that she can choose ten from her old preschool and ten from new. I don't think people will mind, they will appreciate that she is new and needs to make friends, two weeks notice should be fine as long as there isn't another party which it clashes with.
