Princess and knights party

My dd is having a princess and knights party for her 4 th birthday, it is going to be a the local castle in a mini hall with banquet table and shields on the wall etc so the setting will really make the party (and don't have to worry about decorating!!)
Does this sound like enough to do?
Arrive and decorate crowns and shields
Pass the treasure chest
Princess trail (hide pictures of disney princesses around places for them to follow clues and find)
Jousting tournament (hobby horses and pretend lances to hi the dragon with)
Food
Dragon hunt (chase my husband dressed as a dragon around the castle grounds ad fine the party bags he has stolen)

Any other ideas???

Need help with clues and Disney princesses
Thought could have
Cinderella in the tea room
Sleeping beauty in the room that has a bed in
Tianna at the pond with a frog
Rapunzel at top of tower
Belle in the flower garden
Jasmine on a rug on the lawn

Not very poetic to come up with clues though!!!O

Wow - sounds amazing!

How about Musical "magic carpets" or similar. Use coulured mats, or decorate large bits of paper and use those. Like musical chairs but no falling off, and one removed after each go?

(Is the Pond covered? Don't wants kids falling in!)

Yeah musical rugs sounds good,
Pond has little fence round it plus all the parents will be there.

Also any tips

WE did a pin the crown on the princess - I drew round dd and stuck an A4 photograph of her face on top so we had a full sized dd princess - then cut out a crown and they took turns to stick it on her head. ALso did the same with her dressed as a pirate with a parrot - but our theme was pirates & princesses. Oh - I remember also I got plastic goblets (rather than paper cups) and decoarted them with glass paints - they looked really good and the kids loved them. Can't remember what other games we had - but we also had a bouncy castle.

Tip - have something to calm them down especially before food!

Can I just mention that if you have a knights party most of the boys will bring swords and try to bash the shit out of each other for most of the party.

Otherwise, sounds lovely.
