Hi, i have some colouring and would like to dye some bread for sandwiches. Is there any way to do this which doesn't involve baking the bread myself?

You can get powdered food colouring but I can't see how you could use it and keep the bread dry successfully, without giving the children seriously dyed tongues and probably skin and poo, because it's so concentrated.

You could try making up a solution of food colouring (liquid or powder in water) and dabbing it onto the outside of the slices with a piece of kitchen towel? Kind of like sponge-painting, that might not make the bread too soggy.

But if you want it all through the bread then you're going to have to start from scratch and make it yourself, sorry.

I suspect that. Thanks though.
