Adult party inspiration - help!

Have you been to a good party lately? Why was it so good?

Looking for party ideas for a 40th. Nothing too expensive. I've done the ice statue, magician and hypnotist, but was looking for something a bit simpler this time as we don't have the money to spend any more (damn kids!)

Know any good drinking (or other type of) games? I draw the line at strip poker - my post baby bod ain't what it used to be!

A good 40th is absolutely down to a) the people you invite and b) the music
Stop stressing!!!
Find a good room, above a pub or whatever, invite your bestest fun mates, add beer, good tunes, some room for a dance floor and a few disco lights, bit of food (burgers et al) and you are good to go
