Children's Party Food - Jewish children

DD's birthday party is in 4 weeks and there are about 5 children coming who are Jewish - their parents keep Kosher at home but not outside the house although no pork, shellfish etc

I don't want to have a situation where the parents are standing over the kids saying no to ham sandwiches, sausages on sticks etc.

I'm doing mini bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese and the usual carrot sticks etc, but wondered if there is anything else I could make.

Also does anyone know if not keeping Kosher outside the home means that it would be okay to mix meat and dairy or should I avoid that too?

I'd rather not ring the parents as I know they will bend over backwards to insist that I shouldn't do anything special but I would like to.

Many thanks for any help!

why not do a selection of "open sandwiches" as well so its quite clear whats what! Egg and Cress, Tuna mayo, small mini cocktail size pizzas perhaps
