What would you think about a post-school 'friends round for birthday tea sort of party thing'? There is a community event on the Saturday which I think many families will want to attend so wondered about the Friday - and that way it wouldn't interfere with the weekend. We would be talking about 8-10 or so children and as far as I know they are all collected by a parent on a Friday. If it were to be 4-5.30 would that be annoying because of the going home and then going out again thing? Or should we offer to walk them all home straight from school???
