Hello

the venue I am hoping to have DS's party at has only limited slots left. What would be your preferred time slot for a seven year old's party? (there will be mainly six and seven year olds):

1 - 2.30 or 6 - 7.30?

It is a soft play place and I will serve either lunch or tea.

I was thinking I prefer the later slot as will give me more time to get organised during the day and is a bit "grown up" but worry that DS may just get too excited waiting all day and that other parents may think it is too late...

Any thoughts welcome Smile

I would prefer the earlier slot, at 7 30 I would hope to have the kids in the bath, not just coming down off a sugar buzz...it would be a long wait for a very excited little boy too :)

I too would go for the 2 30 slot for the same reasons

Must say I would prefer the earlier slot.

My daughter will be 6 next week and has a party booked from 2.30-4.30.

I usually have her and her sister in the bath between 6-6.30. Lights out are at 7.30pm.

Def the earlier time. My ds (nearly 7) is manic after a party, he would be too hyper for bedtime. Also, your ds will spend more time WAITING in desperation for his party to begin than enjoying himself at the party.
