fancy dress for parents and baby

Can anyone suggest any easy fancy dress ideas for two adults plus 8 week old baby?

We've been invited to a fancy dress party, but don't know the other party-goers very well, so don't want to go too OTT, but would like to look like we've made some kind of effort. There is no theme - we can go as anything we like. It would be nice to go as a related group (e.g. characters from the same TV show or similar).

All ideas welcome, especially easy and cheap ones!

I can only think of the Simpsons! Homer and Marge, and maggie (blue hair spray for you and baby and a bald wig for DH!! Maybe a bit of yellow face paint but not sure if that will upset baby skin!! Very cheap though x x

After some trawling of our wardrobe and the high street, we went as batman, catwoman and robin with home made masks and badges. Baby looked v cute as robin in a green sleepsuit with red vest over the top, plus yellow bib on backwards as a cape.
