Party games for 3rd birthday

Is it worth doing party games for dd's 3rd birthday party, do they 'get it' and will they play musical statues etc?

The children played "Freeze" (pretty much same as muscial statues) at DD's 3rd party. She loves it and few others did join in. there were others who were not so sure. Mind, most of the children were not great at the actually standing still bit. LOL! But in our version there was no elimination - everyone joined in all the way through.

Other games that have seemed to go down well with some/many (never all IME) at this age have been pass the parcel and pin the tail on the donkey (or variation).

apparantly we're be doing musical bumps at dd1 friends party (3rd) - it's our first party, so have assumed that they'll be able to do this - don't think my dd will though, but she will dance, so you never know.
