My DS will be 10 in January. He fancies a climbing wall party so I phoned to enquire, expecting to have to put down a deposit and then maybe pay the balance a week in advance or on the day. The centre said no it was pay for the exact numbers, minimum of 6 in advance and it would have to be booked at least a month in advance to secure the date.

It is an £££ party option so would be limited numbers, good friends only but the thought of having to chase up RSVP's a month in advance and then hope nobody is sick on that day as £18 non refundable down the drain is putting me off. Would it you?

No, it secures the date and your ds is happy, they are running a business after all and not fair for them to be out of pocket at the last minute. I think it's not an issue to get six definates from a class?
