what to do for 4 year old birthday party - soft play or magician?

My ds will be 4 and I am not sure what to do for his birthday, hire soft play area or hire hall and get a magician in. I am not sure whether at the age of 4 him and his friends will be interested in soft play???

I would say magician (if a good one) one of the funnest parties we have been to had a magician, I suppose he was more of an entertainer really, but a lot of fun was had. Soft play is good but for the most part the children will be haring off in all directions, apart from the food bit, I think a shared experience would be nicer.
