New party planning business

Would be interested in your thoughts and opinions. I'm thinking of starting up a new business to organise bespoke children's parties to include everything from sending invites to decorating the house to organising games, party food and bags and then clearing up after. Basically taking stress out of it for the parents so that they can enjoy their kids party and all within an agreed budget. Would be interested to hear how much people spend on their kid's party and whether you think people would pay for this type of party organising (...and any other ideas you have). Thanks.

Hi Betsy5,
I'm in the process of planning my lo's birthday party and have the venue and entertainment sorted, but could really do with someone doing the catering to my spec, ballons/decoration of the room and tables etc and also someone to clear it all up at the end. Trying to find a company to do this is a nightmare. I would definately think that if you started a business up for this purpose it would go well.

I think there's always a market for this and it's not being filled, least not round my way...

Expense? Blimey. I'd like cheap but well wouldn't use a service unless planning to spend a bit. Offer a menu of platinum, gold and silver prices maybe?
