Ruby wedding party

I said I'd help my parents organise their ruby wedding anniversary party. Any exciting ideas for themed invites/ food/drinks/games/music etc? Will be an evening do for around 60 guests. Have come up with red velvet cake for pudding and that's about it! It will be in December so can include xmassy stuff too.

I did a "this is you life" theme - bbc tv series. I wrote to each guest for a memory and photo. I also did a couple of quizzes round the party room of famous tv shows and movie stars and guest weddings (we had a lot of photos) and obviously got the dj to start music at their year of marriage to present day (keeping it cheesy than hard core!) you can get similar photo albums to the Aspel red book online and then use red and gold as your theme colours.
