For all parents out there, I would like to start a thread about how to make your little ones birthday party remembered by all. Please feel free to add your original ideas.
My unique idea this year for my little boy's birthday was a "NERF" gun-party, every parent (with boys) knows nerf guns, well my partner and I had the idea to buy some nerf guns and re-use some laying about in the house and let the boys free in the garden with them. We set up a little practice course to get them going but soon they got the idea. It was a great day for the kids, and the birthday boy had a great birthday party with all his friends.
Some of you might be thinking, well thats all very well if you have loads of money to spend but it is really cheap if you think about it. I bought 10 guns for £5,97 (www.nerf-gun.co.uk/nerf-n-str...e-finder-ex-3/) and bought my boy a more expensive one as after all it was his birthday. After the party the cheaper guns also doubled as a little party gift. So yes I spend about £50 on the party, but what does a cinema or entertainer cost nowadays for 10+1 boys who don't want to sit still and simply want to be boys! Whats more it was extremely healthy for the kids as they just ran around the garden and it kept the house tidy!
