What makes a good party?

I am having a party for me, not had one ever in my life. Always gone out instead, or just run away and hidden!

What makes a good party? Should I get a singing game for the Wii? Bunting and fairy lights?

Lots of wine, of course!

I would say lots of drink, not just booze, lots of food, doesn't have to be fancy, and an ipod with some good music.

Wii always goes down well, particularly the dancing/singing games and anything sporty.

Bunting and fairly lights sound lovely! I am too lazy unimaginative to get much into decorating
