I have found 2 venues, one is in a local gym, is cheap and includes the bouncy castle. It is available the week following my dd's birthday, its nice enough but is not amazing.

The second one is lovely, with a large garden, hall inside for food and we will have to rent the bouncy castle seperate. So will work out much more, but thats not the problem, the problem is thats its not available untill 3 weeks after dd's birthday.

She is onlygoing to be 4, I think its a long time for dd to wait for her birthday party if we wait untill 3 weeks after the birthday.

Opinions please?? Smile

My 3 dcs always have their parties at least 2-3 weeks after their birthdays because of when their birthdays fall (2 are straight after christmas, 1 is middle of summer holidays). They don't mind, we make a big deal of the day itself, usually have a trip out to somewhere of their choice then they look forward to their party.

They're 7, 6 and 4 so are used to it now.
