first birthday present ideas for DD please?

hello

our DD will be 1 at the end of the month (where did that year go ) and we are completely stumped as to ideas of what to buy her for her birthday, or to suggest things to relatives who keep asking what she would like? She has an older brother who is 3 and so has inherited all of his baby toys and we already have in the house 'big' things like a wheelybug, trike, sand pit etc.

so does anyone have any good suggestions for her? i often feel that she is much more hard done by than DS as all the interesting stuff was bought for him! of course money can go into her account and i can wrap boxes filled with tissue paper (she loves that) but its not quite the same. we always wanted to treat them the same but feel like were failing already!

thank you for the ideas, i would really love a dolls house we have been looking at dolls houses but like you say are for when they are a bit older and we are a bit lacking in space for stuff at the minute too. chair sounds interesting though will investigate further!

toy kitchen - have 2 dds and it is the most played with toy by miles by them and any other children who come round. Vowed I wouldn't have one as it takes up room but they have loved it to bits. My only regret is that we've got bright plastic one and not tasteful wooden one!
