Generation Game! Any ideas?

DP and I have been invited to a friends for a meal and we need to each come up with an idea for a generation game style activity.

We are not very creative and can't think of anything at all. Has anyone done this before and have any ideas that won't cost a fortune/aren't too complicated. All ideas very welcome.

I bought a party craft kit from this website party crafts and ran it as a generation game challenge for families. There are 4 themes safari pirate, princes and dino (we chose the safari one because the monkeys are so cute. All you have to do is show the demonstration model or make one up yourself within a 2 minute time slot and challenge the rest of the group to do the same. Just make sure you have enough for everyone or you could get people to do the activity in pairs. You'll need extra pairs of scissors and sellotape.

The kits are aimed at kids, but wont you be popular when everyone gets to take a treat home for their little ones!

Hi Wendy, thanks so much for replying and I will look at that for next time. We went and in the end we just did a couple of quizzes which worked out well. Something practical sounds like more fun though!
