Deadly 60 party - anyone?

My DD , soon to be 8, is a massive fan of Deadly 60. In a bid to avoid the dreaded 'pink princess party' stuff most of her mates are having, I've suggested a 'Deadly 60' themed birthday party, and she's very keen. I've found lots of places that do 'reptile parties'and will bring over a selection of animals (lizards, spiders, chameleons etc) for the kids to look at and hold.

Has anyone had one of these types of parties and how did they go? Any companies you can recommend? We're in the east London/Essex area. (BTW, if there's a Steve Blackshall look-a-like available too, I'd be interested in that tooGrin).

I'd be there to help if you managed to get Steve himself there!!! Grin.

I haven't had any experience of using companies but i have been so some parties that have them and what i would say is to make sure all your guests are totally comfortable with all the creepy crawlies.

Where we live - not london - there is someone who bring animals to parties - its always a great hit - they do bring some cute ones as well as snakes etc

Thank you, morethanyoubargainfor and crw1234, really helpful advice. I've found a 'fur and feathers' package which looks good, better for those not keen on the creepy crawlies!
