Re the party I am planning, church hall with school friends, dj and games. It is a big place and my twins are popular. How many is too many?? I think my DD would have 50 if she got the chance.

I have managed in the past to invite the whole class of about 30 and usually end up with about 20 at the party (DC's b-days are in summers hols though).

Also depends on age, if you are having any entertainment, and whether other parents or adult pairs of hands are on hand.

I went to one in a hall with 27 the other day. They had a bouncy castle inside which kept them all busy mainly and a craft table and face painting.

But it did seem to be a struggle to organise them for games (these dcs were age 6 mainly).

I think if they'd been any younger there would have been more tears/tantrums etc to deal with as well.

There were 5 adults there and it was a bit of a nightmare for the parents I felt.
