For it is bare!

I like to have a good stock of birthday presents to avoid having to trek into town every time the dc get a party invitation.

Need presents for boys, though a couple of unisex ones would be handy too.

Budget no more than £7 - any ideas?

Approx age of boys?

I agree with Molly - fiction and non.

Model-making kits

Card games - UNO and top trumps

try the book people - you can often get bags of books for £9.99. I got ten "little red train", "where's Wally" and some bear stories there. The books are usually £5.99 or £6.99 each so they are a bargain.

Also when they are three for two.

Jigsaws and board games are good too - Orchard toys do good ones, like shopping list etc.

Those kits that have a model to paint or the stuff to sew something are good too - I saw them recently on sale in oxfam (new that is)
