planning a big bash for parents 40th.

All my siblings are chipping in. But its to be at my house in May. Roughly talking around 200 so looking at Marquee& portaloos. Db knows someone at that end. But do I plan bbq or is that too much hastle. Is it easier to have buffet prepared? Or is a pig on spit cool?

pig on a spit sounds great. went to a 50th recently with one, food was gorgeous and there was minimal fuss. bbq maybe too much trouble when you want to relax and enjoy the party.
