40th Birthday present ideas please??

Hi,
One of my very good friends is 40 in a couple of week-we are going up to London to go out for dinner (12 of us)-so having to pay for our own meal etc but I was just wandering if anyone has any ideas of what I could buy her??? Something to keep and remember?

-An engraved wine/drinks glass
-One of those photo books with photo's of your friendship together.

These were all things my mum recieved for her 40th and still looks back on (although she is only 41 :o)

of all those things I would prefer the photobook. I think it's a lovely idea
