That got your attention didn't it!!!

Housewarming party this weekend - anyone done anything a bit different than the usual stuff? Was thinking along lines of tapas, but bit time consuming to prepare and DH not that keen.

Any ideas at all please? Thanks.

Hi Amynix - how are you doing? Hope to see you on the next meetup whenever it is!

Looove fajitas, but bit fiddly to do on night maybe? Perhaps I'm just lazy!

Skinnycow - sushi - sorry can't stand it!!!!

Hi Merlin

We're all well? How are you?

I would love to come to the next meetup but am sadly very skint so I think the visit to the Malleted one is out of the question. Actually on second thoughts not seeing dear Timmy is more than isn't it.

Still, i would have liked to see he and Bunny's reunion though

don't worry we'll get photographic evidence!!!!!

for this kind of do i make a big pot of chilli.
put out tortillas (buy them), sour cream, salsa and guacamole, and grated cheese, and everyone assembles their own.

Merlin · 05/10/2005 19:28

thanks for those guys - anyone else?.

do a deepish tortilla - omlette but with lots of pre-cooked cubes of potato, chunks of chorizo, peppers, onions and cheese. cut into cubes and serve on cocktail sticks.

Al the bits for fajitas could all be prepared well in advance like the grated cheese and shreaded lettuce. Then the chicken bit just heated up when required.

Its one of my party favourites, I do extra stuff like carrots for my kids and just put it all on the table with a pile of plates.
