'Sleeping Lions'?!!!!

I've just been looking back over the party threads - some brill ideas given by everyone over time.

They've all helped me with upcoming 6 year old daughters party but 'sleeping lions' game has been mentioned loads of time as a good quiet game for after the food etc.

Problem is no-one has described what it is. Am I the only person who doesn't know what it is?

I'm assuming it's different from musical statues?

Also, do you thik it looks bad for the kids to be watching a video to finish off with when the parents come to collect (little knowing what havoc has been created in the previous two hours or so?

Instead of standing still when the music stops they have to lay done. The last one down is out. Easier for the smaller ones than statues.

Sleeping lions - basically kids have to lie on the floor and not move at all (breathing allowed). Anyone who so much as twitches is out. Parents pad slowly round checking for movements. A good game for after tea, plus if you show them the truly fantastic prize first, they'll do their best to win it
