wildstrawberryplace · 09/01/2011 18:49

maktaitai · 09/01/2011 18:53

Bumperlicious · 09/01/2011 18:55

He said it is a death star! Don't worry! I'm just a sci-fi philistine!

wildstrawberryplace · 09/01/2011 19:05

V. impressive! Did you use a round tin or layer different size slices?

ilythia · 09/01/2011 19:30

Nice! Loving the ewoks and figures around it too!

maktaitai · 09/01/2011 19:30

How cool is that???

Well done you did a fantastic job, who is the Star Wars fan Grin

Haribojoe · 09/01/2011 19:36

I'm seriously impressed!

maktaitai · 09/01/2011 19:40

And to think that it only happened because my local Sainsburys didn't have a Star Wars cake yesterday Smile

Cor, that's fab! It'll go rather well with the R2D2 cake that nearly killed me I made last year. Do have a peek! Wink

stealthsquiggle · 10/01/2011 17:34

obviously it's a the Death Star - it's fab - has it been consumed yet?

MaureenMLove · 10/01/2011 17:57

Oh, I know! But I wouldn't listen, would I? You can't tell a cake maker, it's too hard though can you? It'll just make her wanna try even more! Grin

Popbiscuit · 10/01/2011 18:02

Amazing. Well done!

maktaitai · 10/01/2011 21:07

Wow Maureen, that's incredible! Wow I wish I could ice like that. Is it sugarpaste (not that I know what that is exactly, unless it comes in a packet from Sainsburys)

OP posts:
stealthsquiggle · 10/01/2011 21:50

maktaitai don't go there - my version of that cake nearly killed me, and MaureeenMLove saw it and foolishly decided to try it herself (for her DB) - and now has matching scars Grin

I don't suppose Mo's other lovely cakes are much good to given that she has quite a girly DD and you clearly have a DS? However, from my own experience, may I commend to you jungles, dragons, castles, bombs, chemical flasks, ScoobyDoo mystery machines - almost anything other than R2D2, lovable and "wow"-inducing though he is?
