Children's Party Planner

Hi

Could anyone recommend a good party planner in the Yorkshire area. I am sick of taking my son to the same old play gym style parties where they ship the kids in and out as quick as possible and feed them pizza and chips. Am I wrong to want something a little more personal and thought about. Do kids want the traditional pass the parcel style party that we used to have as kids? Is there anyone out there that could offer a well organised, stress free option. Don't get me wrong I am willing to roll my sleeves up and do the work myself but just need the ideas!!

Thanks Helen

Hi ellliebelle, I've just seen your message and I would love some ideas. We are planning to celebrate our girl birthday. She will be 9, and will invite 9 friends from school. We have done parties at home before so I'm running out of ideas. Previously we have done a treasure hunt with a fairy theme and with a craft theme. Then the usual party games. Any more ideas? Really appreciated!
