Hi all... I have agreed to organise a fancy dress party for a club my dd goes to on Saturday mornings. The children range in age from babies to 9 years. The little ones love to be involved in what the big kids are doing so I have to think of ways to include everyone. I am going to do some internet research for halloween party games and ideas but I was wondering if anyone has some successful ideas to share?

We meet in London at the Haymarket, near Trafalgar Square, so I was wondering about a treasure hunt?

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks for sharing.

On e of the best games we did at a similar party ws dressing up as Mummies game - whic basically invovled them and a friend winding themselves up in rolls of cheap toilet roll and trying towalk across the room and back. worked a treat!

haha... I have just written down this game after spotting it on the other threads about halloween. I definately think the kids would go crazy wrapping up a parent each (since they would be in fancy dress). Sounds like fun!

How about a "Yucky Dip"?
We do this every year and the kids in the village love it....but be warned it does get a bit messy.

Basically you fill a huge pot with allsorts of yucky gunky horrible things....beans, rice porridge oats, flour, green food die, water...a real horid mix....then you add small gifts such as boucy balls etc as the prizes that have to be retrieved from the bottom of the pot.

I have organised The Monster Ball for the school PTA for the three years...so if you need anymore ideas just CAT me.

A good place for prizes is here

They also have a haloween craft section with some good ideas for craft games.

Thanks JM.... I know my dd would love that! It sounds truly yucky

I have just been visiting the Baker Ross site after your recommendations on the princess party thread. They have some fabulous bits which save you needing to do too much preparation. I like that . I'm thinking about the spider making set too. Bx

ooh... what about bones? I have just seen a picture of a skeleton and wondered if there was anything we could do with that. Maybe a pin the tail type activity?

Ooh, my creativity juices are flowing
