Well it's over & DD's party was a massive sucess; definitely worth holding it at my mothers [grin]

She organised the food & the entertainment, DH cleared up

I did cakes, invites, party bags & running around

The make-up artist was a massive success (tho' Dd said she put too much make-up on) The party bags were fab

DD had a big "anticlimax" at the end & it's all over for another year

I hope you said a massive THANK YOU to your mother for helping.If she feels appreciated she might offer to host it again .
