Need ideas for 70's fancy dress outfit for me

We are going to a 70's / 80's fancy dress party next week but am stuck for ideas what to wear. I would like to go in a 70's outfit & have looked on Ebay but don't like anything on there. Anyone got any ideas? I'm hopeless at this soft of thing, it's bad enough when the kids go in fancy dress!

What springs to mind is a White suit - are you up for Travolta-ing yourself? Or do you have a DH/DP to put in that role, then you go in a red floaty dress.

Or generally aim for the disco look. Boob tube, skin tight satin trousers, high heels? Jump suit in a colour like electric blue?
