Hi, I have recently decided to hire a nice little church hall for my 30th.
I'm a bit worried it won't have as good an atmosphere as it would at home, as home is more relaxed and cosy. I'm doing a buffet and obviously drinks. 
I'll bring my C.D player and have it decorated with some baloons/bunting. Is that enough for a good party?
I've never had a party as an adult before, I've only done childrens. All the adult partys I've been to are either at their houses or at pubs.
I wanted a cosy feel to the place, so I think I'll bring some lamps rather than use the huge bright lights they have.
