Help with making christmas get together fun and different

every year all my DP family get together and one of us has the get together at our house.
Each year we kind of do a "thing" to mak it different.(sort of after all the dinner etc;later on)

ie one year we had a quiz with all of us in teams.
another year some singing and dancing with kareoki.
another year dressed up as santa with lucky dip pressie.....etc

this year we really wanted to allocate a number or letter to everyone, from a dip...and then have some silly dress up bits to put on, depending on the number.(already put the numbrs on the silly dress up bits) But then we want to cont things going on with the number you are...with sort of games....can anyone think of ideas of how we can do this/what we can do?

charades? each person could have an outfit linked to a film or book etc and then everyone has to guess it from their actions?

eg,a clown could be from octopussy or FX
a lion mask could be from a Narnia film or madagascar or even born free, an elephant could be from dumbo, junglebook or smokey and the bandit
