Party games suitable for 16 children

We are (heaven help us) having a party for our DS, who will be 6, in a community centre. I've got as far as pass the parcel, musical chairs and/or bumps and a treasure hunt activity, but not got much further than that. Any other ideas for good, simple games that work well for that number of children?

pin the whatever-on-the-whatever????? Dunno really! I think pass the parcel, musical chairs and a bumps or statues game would be enough. They like some music on and do their own thing imho. The last one we went to, which ds2 and dd both proclaimed "the best party ever" - there was food, a couple of games as you mention, some face painting for anyone who wanted it and a box of "stuff" for them to dress up in - just cape / wand / hat sort of stuff. Sounds naff when I type it, but they adored it. Try not to panic!!

Thanks for the ideas! I think I am panicking a bit too much, but I think perhaps one or two extra games won't go amiss.

cat64 funny you suggest relay games - I had exactly the same thought last night (laying awake worrying at midnight!). At DS' sports day they did a relay race in teams of dressing up in hat/scarf/gloves and then running back - I think that one might work, even without the chocolate!

I've also bought a load of temporary tattoos (DS is obsessed with them) and might also do biscuit decorating.
