Monster fancy dress party for my 2 yo ds, I really want an Elmo costume for him! Any ideas??

Ds is 2 in a couple of weeks, we are having a monster themed party for him and I want to dress him up as Elmo.
I can find elmo costumes but they all seem to be from the States.

Any ideas?? TIA

If he is only 2, I wouldn't get carried away. He'll probably refuse to wear it. I'd cobble something together and perhaps paint his face - if he'll let you!
