warhammer present idea?

Hi,

My nephew is into Warhammer and it's his 10th birthday next week and so I thought I'd look at games workshop for a present.
However, a), it's really pricey and b), it's so vast I haven't got a clue as to what to get.

I had thought vouchers but as he's my god child, I felt that was a bit lame. We wanted him to know we had put thought into it.

Any ideas as to what would be a good thing to buy? Something generic so it wouldn't matter if he already had it? Extra goblins or something???

I don't want to ask SIL as she'll think I've not put thought into it.

AFAIK warhammer is lots of different sets, so you would need to know which set he is collecting.

How about additional paints/brushes? Or a special box to keep them in?

A good set of paints or a case is always very welcome. But if you go into the shop, the staff are super helpful, and will be able to advise you

There's a movie coming out soon. Not sure exactly when, but I do know that it's going straight to dvd.

I was going to suggest maybe some sort of Warhammer art print(s) for his bedroom, but then saw he's only 10 - so they may be a bit violent. The DVD could well be a bit violent for a 10 year old too
Maybe stick with the paints and brushes.

Thanks everyone - problem solved. DH just took over and ordered a set of skeleton warriors and said if he didn't like them or already had them, he could swap them. Job done. Thanks for your input though. DVD good idea for their xmas present if they haven't got it by then though.
