DD has been invited to a party for a child who will be 4. The invite says that there is food for the adults (it is a Saturday afternoon party). I will take DD and stay myself, but I don't know whether DH is "invited"

-if I take him, will there be too many adults?

-if I don't take him, will it be rude?

-should I state on the reply exactly who will be going?

(We both want to go)

TIA!

ring/text and ask

I always check before taking either dh or baby ds when dd's invited to a party

I would ask too. If it's in someone's home too many adults may get in the way of the games and entertainment.

I'd assume it's meant for one adult to stay, not for a family outing.
I also agree with cat64, children's parties are a horror to be avoided why does your DH want to go?
