What on earth do princes wear??

My DS (4) is going to a prince and princess party, and I haven't a clue what to put him in.....any suggestions?
His friends Mum tried to get her DD to be a little less specific with her theme, but she insisted!!

Put him in knee length shorts and a white shirt with a cape (any old bit of material) and cardboard crown.

You can complete the look with white knee socks and a couple of square cardboard and foil 'buckles' stuck on a pair of plimsolls.

Nazi costume.
