what can boys dress up as for a ballerina party?

My daughter has requested a ballerina party (!) for her 3rd birthday.

Most of her friends & invitees are boys and I doubt many of them have ballerina dresses in their dressing up box!

Any ideas? Ballerinas & pirates?

Why not make it a general Fancy Dress party? and do lots of ballerina theme stuff that will make her happy.

DD once got an invite to a "Princess party" (it said so, right there in black and white).
She duly wore a Princess Dress.
She was the only one!
Most the girls just wore nice dresses, half the kids wore ordinary clothes, not sure if any of the boys made it in fancy dress, there was nothing Princessy about the party at all.
DD was never invited to anything else calling itself a Princess party, even though there were heaps of them about according to MN at the time.

At three one of my boys lived in his dancing skirt!!
