Vtech baby monitor issues

I have the vtech 7764 baby monitor.

It is recently coming up with the below message and i have to reboot it 3-4 times to get past this message. Im stood right next to the baby unit when turning it on.

As its so slow to boot on, this can take up to 10 mins to work!!

Anyone else got this problem?

Yes I had this but turning it off and on again once fixed it. How long have you had it, can you take it back to the shop?

@Gigi89x I’m having the same issue with mine too… how did you resolve this?

I stopped turning the baby monitor screen off and keep it on plugged in when not in use & if it was to turn off, turn it back on close the baby monitor.
We get the odd blue error message now and then but not as much

We've been through 3 v tech monitors, took them back as kept having the same issue with not connecting. I returned again last week and the sales assistant said that so many people have returned because of the same issue! We exchanged for a leap frog, only had a week but so far so good!
