Embarrassed at my behaviour

I lost my rag today at DD 21m she had thrown her clothes all over her bedroom!! I madhandled her and made her put it all away! She was crying whole time. So totally overreacted and unnecessary all because I'm not feeling well!!

Feeling so bad and embarrassed about how I treated her!!!

Don't beat yourself up too much, I know I've overreacted on the odd occasion and felt really bad about it afterwards. Your DD'll have forgotten all about it by the morning.

Sympathy! My DD3yrs drove me to this the other day (or I drove myself?!). No man handling, but a lot of unnecessary shrieking, mostly mine. I was sick too.

We had lots of cuddles later, but didn't over-analyse the situation, IFYWIM?

I did tell DH later that now I suppose I owe her her own melt-down tantrum, as Mummy had had hers for the month.
