car seat toys - for group 1+ seats

we are going on holiday soon and wanted to get ds a toy for the car so he doesnt melt down in the inevitable traffic jams.

i can't find anything that clips onto a group 1+ car seat anywhere!

is there anything you can suggest?

is there a reason why they don't exist?

i do give ds bits and bobs to play with but when grumpy he's a chucker!

Hi, just an idea but we punched holes in flash cards and attached them to a ring which we then attached with string (or linkies) to his car seat strap. He loved looking at all the pictures and it entertained him for AGES!. Maxi cosi also do this clip on play tray that I was once tempted to buy but the most we drive is 2 hours so didn't splurge.
