Nappy liners

I've just started using fleece liners in 6 m.o. DS's nappies as he's started on solids and some food is definitely coming through. I think the liners I have are Tots Bots. They are exactly the right width for my MEOS nappies, but too wide for the Bambinex Teddies.

Will they work as well if I fold them lengthways to fit in the Teddies, or should I chop some of them so they're narrower?

Also how do you get the solids off? I've tried holding the liners under the toilet flush but it didn't seem to have any effect. I know the bidet-things are supposed to be good, but I don't have one of those.

TIA

as the poo gets more solid it'll just fall off

I just chop up old fleece baby blankets so I have the right size for each of my nappies
