Unexpectedly we have DN coming to live with us, permanently. We have a tiny two bed flat for DP, me and DS, 10 months.

We can't see any other option till we can move, in 10 months time.

We will be sleeping on a mattress in bedroom 2 / office.

Is this going to be a disaster? DS rarely sleeps through.

IS it a private rental? Could you try discussing with the landlord/agency whether you could break the lease for special circumstances and move earlier. It's worth a shot!

Anyfule the room we're in is an attic and has a low sloping roof, we're pushing it getting a mattress in there let alone a bed.. but I do think one of those high beds will be good for DN's room to make a kind of enclosed corner for him and give him a bit of privacy.

The rental is private and we would LOVE to get out but it doesn't look like they'll let us.

Cloudy, DN absolutely adores DS and plays with him so well. Babies are therapeutic!

Don't buy the Tromso - it is rickety and noisy! Good luck cr, everything will be fine. BTW my polish upstairs neighbour spent his whole young life sharing with his two brothers and his granny!!
