Hi my dear DD she is a lovely girl and alongside this sweetness out of the blue - yes hormones, i hope,she shouts loses temper!! I feel at loss what to do when she suddenly loses her rag- i dont want her to think its ok to speak disrespectfully but a t same time want to support her to handle her hormonal feelings ..help / advice please!!!!

Cuddles and understanding are called for along with an explanation that you know it is very hard but she needs to start to keep her behaviour under control. Let her know that you feel the same swings of emotion at certain times but you have learned to keep them under wraps for the most part. Tell her that she needs to try to recognise these feelings and find ways to keep a lid on them. It will be a long process and you'll need to support her through it.
