Hi there,

Used Tesco's own brand with DS (who is now only in pull-ups at night). DC2 due in a few weeks and need to go and get some nappies - which ones are now the best (disposables)?

At some point over the last few years, Tesco's changed their design and the nappies were not quite as absorbent as they were, but they were still ok. I was thinking of buying the Tesco's ones again - I remember hating the smell of Pampers/Huggies when they had been wee'd in and now have been hearing how pampers especially have changed the design and their nappies are even worse!

Can someone tell me please if Tesco's are still ok please? Have also heard Lidl were good too, but our shop only sells nappies in size3 upwards, nothing suitable for a newborn! Do Lidl do a newborn size (maybe it is just our local shop that doesn't)?

Any advice greatfully received :-) TIA

I use Naturecare nappies which are biodegradable and made of non-bleached corn-starch so have less chemicals against baby's skin. I've never had a problem with them leaking and only had a "usual" amount of nappy rash during teething. I think they are great.

Morrisons are good, no leaks so far.
Avoid huggies, they are terrible! If you don't get the dirty nappy off right away leaks in a bad way. And pee quit eoften comes out the sides
