Toddler climbed over the side of a sofa and fell onto the brick trolley - Mummy in the kitchen at the time - large egg on side of head. Next day, toddler playing catch with older brother while sitting in push chair, toddler falls out of push chair while Mummy getting school bags ready - matching egg on otherside of forehead. Now wrapped in cotton wool!!

Oh gosh, I lost DS for the first time the other day We were at a big festival/fair type thing (lots of stalls, lots of people) - he's 20 months so can walk, but never goes out of sight of me, so I was letting him potter around not on reins etc but keeping one eye on him.

Bumped into a friend who has just had a new baby so had a peek at newborn in pram Still keeping half an eye on DS who was playing on a stall selling various children's things. Friend goes off on her way, I turn attention fully back to DS, then a few seconds later a crowd of people walks between me and DS, when they have gone past, heartstopping moment as I realise he is nowhere to be seen.

Luckily he had wandered off following my friend, so she just brought him straight back! But I was quite worried for a moment there. Think I may get him trained to walk on reins in similar situations in the future.

DH put him on the bench after swimming where heprompty tried to stand up put his leg through the holes in the bench and fell on concrete floor, now sporting head bruise.
Mum let him sit on the sofa while she got milk ready, he threw remote on floor and dived off to follow it, now rubbing mouth having broken his fall with his teeth!
