Bed sheet help for DS

Hi, I'm just about to order a bed sheet for Ds because we are moving him into a new bed. It's a small children's bed (he's 2) and we can't find sheets to fit the mattress, so need to get them made.

Anyway, it's asking if we want 50% cotton 50% polyester or 100% cotton, and I've no idea.. can someone who knows about these things tell me what the difference is please?!

Thankyou for your help

50% polyester will be cheaper but won't feel as nice nor last as long.

Replace the word polyester with plastic and you'll understand.

Incidentally why do you need to get them made, just buy single flat sheets and hem the ends to make them shorter.

Is it a specially made bed? All toddlers beds are the same size ime. There's only 2 size options for mattresses..... normal child size, or Ikea size!

Hem? I can't even sew a button on!
I'll get cotton ones, thank you
The mattress is 76 by 105 cm on its shortest setting and I can't find sheets to fit.

Buy a standard flat single sheet (not fitted) and use that...

HouseofCrazy · 19/06/2010 16:16

Agree. Just get a standard sheet and tuck the excess under or fold it.

Ah I see an adjustable bed.....can you fold though? If so you have no problem just buy a standard single.

And go find out how to sew on a button, it is a good thing to know!
